Different types of phosphorus fertilizers have a big impact on the growth and yield of maize plants. In a field experiment, researchers found that using Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) fertilizer led to taller plants, more grains per ear, heavier grains, and higher overall yields. One maize variety, Azam, had taller plants and heavier grains, while another variety, Jalal, had more grains per ear and higher yields. Using TSP fertilizer and planting Jalal variety can help increase maize productivity in the study area.
