The world economy is looking good, especially in the US and China, but the Euro Area is struggling. The UK is doing well, with growth expected in 2004 and 2005. In Scotland, the service sector is growing, but manufacturing is facing challenges. Overall, Scottish GDP is forecasted to grow by 1.3% in 2003, 2.1% in 2004, and 2.3% in 2005.
