Electric utilities revolutionize gas turbine procurement process for efficiency and reliability.
A seminar was held in 1992 to discuss the purchasing needs and processes for gas turbines. Utility representatives gathered to share successful installations and address issues with gas turbine units. The seminar included members from electric utilities, EPRI, invited speakers, and the seminar organizer, Carnot. This was the seventh seminar in a series focused on the combustion turbine procurement process. Previous seminars included presentations from gas turbine manufacturers, but recent ones focused on problems during the procurement process. The 1991 seminar included presentations from turbine manufacturers and utility personnel sharing experiences.
