Coal deposits in Cigudeg and Bojongmanik areas have different characteristics based on how they formed. Cigudeg coal is brighter and has clay minerals and quartz, while Bojongmanik coal is duller and contains pyrite and calcite. Bojongmanik coal has higher ranks due to thicker overburden. Both coals are suitable for small-scale industries as fuel.
