Green Revolution: Meteorological Factors Drive Vegetation Change in China's Loess Plateau
The study looked at how vegetation changed in the Loess Plateau of China from 2000 to 2015 and what factors influenced these changes. They found that most areas became greener during this time, especially in certain parts of Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. In 2015, weather factors like temperature and precipitation had the biggest impact on vegetation growth, accounting for 87.7% of the change. Human activities also played a role, contributing 6.4% to the increase in vegetation.
