Unlocking Rational Decision Making: How Weak Axiom Strengthens Choices
The article explores when the weak axiom of revealed preference is enough to ensure strong rationalizability in decision-making. By analyzing circuits on a graph created from budget information, the researchers found that this condition applies to both small and large budget collections. They also introduce the concept of local integrability and prove a related theorem. The study reveals how complete a decision-making domain must be for the weak axiom and local integrability to guarantee strong rationalizability.
