Optimizing Sulphur and Potassium Levels Boost Sesame Yield and Quality
A study looked at how adding sulphur and potassium to sesame plants affects their growth and yield. They found that applying 50 kg/ha of sulphur led to taller plants, more branches, capsules, and seeds per capsule, higher seed and oil yields. Similarly, applying 50 kg/ha of potassium also resulted in taller plants, more branches, capsules, seeds per capsule, and higher seed and oil yields. Overall, adding these nutrients up to 50 kg/ha improved the quality and yield of sesame plants.
