Precision agriculture needs accurate irrigation for fruit trees. A new method for scheduling drip irrigation in nectarine orchards was tested in a Mediterranean setting. Soil water content and plant water status were monitored throughout the growing season. By using real-time data and weather information, irrigation factors were determined to manage water effectively. This approach helps optimize water use for nectarine trees in areas with limited water resources.
