The study looked at graduates from psychology and teaching programs in Chile to see if satisfaction with their degree or the university's prestige was a better indicator of quality education. They found that salary was more related to the profession than the quality of the curriculum. Job satisfaction was influenced by salary, teaching methods, and how relevant the degree program was to their work. The study suggests that focusing on program quality rather than institutional prestige could help reduce income inequality in Chile.
