Participation in Social Networks Boosts Trust but Hinders Social Inclusion.
Participating in social networks in Poland can increase trust and respect for others. The study looked at how being part of different types of social groups affects people's attitudes. Joining acquaintances' networks and volunteering can boost trust in others. Having more family and friends in your network can also increase expectations of cooperation. However, being part of organizations or informal networks doesn't change how respectful people are towards certain groups. Overall, getting involved in social activities may not have a big impact on building trust and respect among individuals.
