Low HRIS utilization in Jordanian companies hindering employee strategic capability.
The article explores how using a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) can help companies in Jordan improve their employees' strategic capabilities. A survey was conducted with HR professionals in Jordanian companies, revealing a significant link between HRIS and strategic capability. However, the study found that the current level of HRIS utilization in these companies is low, possibly due to employee dissatisfaction or lack of understanding. Despite this, employees in Jordanian companies show high levels of strategic capability, particularly in terms of morale and capability, indicating a strong commitment to their companies and a focus on empowering employees to make strategic decisions.
