The article discusses how agile software development methodologies, like Extreme Programming (XP), are evolving to meet the changing needs of customers. XP is known for its focus on simplicity, communication, and feedback, but has been criticized for lacking in detailed requirements. To address this, the authors propose Scenario Based Requirement Engineering (SERE) using Agile Modelling (AM) as a way to improve the requirement engineering process in XP. SERE helps stakeholders understand system tasks and communicate effectively, ensuring that all requirements are identified and considered.
