The article discusses the shift from fossil fuels to eco-friendly tidal energy systems due to environmental concerns. Various advanced technologies like tidal streams, barrages, and lagoons are being developed for efficient energy generation. Pakistan's coastal areas, particularly Karachi and Gwadar, are identified as having high potential for tidal energy reserves. Different turbine and tide generation systems are explored to harness tidal energy effectively. The article also addresses challenges faced by tidal energy systems and provides practical solutions.
