Fisheries in Indonesia's Management Region 711 have been declining due to poor management. The study used models to assess fish production and found overfishing in Small Pelagic Fish and Crustaceans. The Schaefer model suggested an optimal effort level and maximum sustainable yield. Current policies are inadequate, requiring stronger government action to address overfishing. Economic factors should also be considered in fisheries management to prevent resource depletion.
