Land tenure security in Zimbabwe affects how much farmers invest in their land and use inputs like fertilizers. Farmers with secure land rights invest more in improving their land and using short-term inputs. Those without secure rights are less likely to invest in agriculture. However, there is little evidence that giving farmers land titles leads to better outcomes.
