Ibrahim River Water Quality Deemed "Medium to Good" in New Study
Surface water quality in the Ibrahim River in Lebanon was studied by collecting and analyzing 285 samples over a year. The researchers looked at 23 different factors like pH, temperature, and bacteria levels. They found that human activities had a big impact on the river's quality, with organic and bacterial factors being the most affected. The study identified 10 key parameters that can be used to assess water quality, and the overall water quality was rated as medium to good. This research can help in monitoring and improving water quality in the Ibrahim River and similar areas.
