The article discusses the importance of having a high-quality system of statistical indicators for analyzing industrial production in Russia. The authors suggest that a combination of national accounts and business statistics is the most effective approach. They developed a system consisting of five blocks of indicators to assess the structure, dynamics, trends, and demand of industrial production. The system is considered comprehensive and suitable for analyzing both domestic and international industrial trends.
