The study analyzed the economic sectors in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi. They found that agriculture and mining are growing rapidly, while construction and financial sectors are lagging. Agriculture, mining, and trade are the base sectors, with mining being the most competitive. Manufacturing and construction are growing in Central Sulawesi but not yet in Morowali. Agriculture and mining are the leading sectors in Morowali's economy.
