New Titanium Alloy Discovery Boosts Plastic Forming Quality and Efficiency!
The researchers studied how different heating processes affect the strength of a titanium alloy called TA17. They found that heating the alloy to 850°C for 2 hours creates a structure that makes it very flexible at room temperature. When tested at 900°C, this same structure showed exceptional flexibility compared to other structures. This research helps us understand how the way we heat titanium alloys can change how strong they are.
