The shift towards renewable energy sources is changing how we measure energy systems. Current metrics like Total Primary Energy and Energy Efficiency are becoming outdated and misleading. As we move towards more sustainable energy, we need new ways to measure our progress accurately. This study suggests focusing on Total Final Consumption and related metrics to better reflect the changing energy landscape.
