Monsoon Shifts Threaten Livelihoods of Millions in Northeast India
The study looked at how much rain fell in North East India a long time ago. Rain is important for the world's weather, and the Asian monsoon is a big part of it. The researchers focused on two parts of the monsoon: the Indian summer monsoon and the East Asia monsoon. They found out how much rain fell during the Late Miocene to Early Pliocene period in North East India.
