The researchers tested different chemicals to control alsike clover and red clover while growing birdsfoot trefoil. They found that TCA at 6.7 kg/ha was effective in controlling alsike clover, and TCA at 13.5 kg/ha or a combination of TCA and dalapon worked well against red clover. Birdsfoot trefoil was not harmed by these chemicals.
