The study looked at how planting certain water plants in Wuliangsu Lake in Inner Mongolia can help clean the water. They tested three types of plants with different levels of pollutants in the water. The results showed that planting these water plants helped reduce the levels of pollutants like nitrogen and phosphorus in the lake. Each plant had different strengths in cleaning the water, with one being best at removing nitrogen and another being best at removing phosphorus. Overall, planting these water plants can help improve the water quality of Wuliangsu Lake.
