A study in Bharatpur City found that residents care most about how often waste is collected, when it's picked up, and how clean the streets are. Most households participate in waste collection, but many are unhappy with the service. Women are usually in charge of waste disposal at home. People want set collection times and bins on the streets to stop littering. They're willing to pay more for better services. Involving local committees and charging based on the number of floors in a house could help improve waste collection.
