Geothermal power in China is a promising source of clean energy. The study looks at where geothermal resources are located and how they can be used for power generation. Currently, China has a small capacity for geothermal power, but there are different technologies that can be used to increase this capacity. One particular area in Tibet is seen as a great spot for a new geothermal project. By focusing on certain technologies and adapting projects to local conditions, China can make better use of its geothermal resources and contribute to national energy and climate goals.
