Revolutionizing social change: How social entrepreneurship transforms society's deepest structures
Social entrepreneurship and social innovation are important for solving global sustainability issues, but many ventures fail to make a real impact. By studying a social entrepreneur in Kenya, researchers found that understanding the beliefs and values of end-users, different actors' perspectives, and the practices that enable or resist change is crucial for creating societal transformation. This research offers a new way to look at how social entrepreneurship can lead to meaningful change by considering the various actors and levels involved in the process. Traditional approaches may not provide enough insight into these complex processes.
