The article analyzes the meanings of "stock market" and "securities market" in Ukraine due to recent changes in laws and accounting practices. It clarifies that the stock market includes all types of securities transactions and economic relations involving corporate and private funds. The securities market specifically involves transactions on buying and selling securities for profit. The study proposes a structural scheme for the Ukrainian stock market, showing how the two markets are interconnected but distinct. This research aims to improve the understanding of these markets for better statistical information and investor trust.
