Boosting maize yields with magnesium and potassium fertilizers revolutionizes agriculture!
The study looked at how adding different amounts of magnesium and potassium fertilizers to soil affected the growth of corn plants. They found that adding these fertilizers increased the weight of the plants and the amount of grain they produced. The highest grain yield was seen when a medium amount of both fertilizers was used. This increase in grain yield was mainly due to more grains per cob and, to a lesser extent, heavier individual grains.
