Testing web applications is crucial for reducing costs and ensuring high-quality applications. A model-based testing approach was used in this study to detect failures and conduct functional testing, overcoming traditional testing challenges. Model-based testing proved to be efficient, automating the testing process, adapting quickly to changes, saving time, and reducing errors when the system is correctly modeled. Comparing model-based testing with automatic testing showed better performance in terms of time, error detection, and coverage criteria.
