An experiment was done to see how different farming systems and weed control methods affect sesame production. Growing sesame with guava trees gave the best results, with taller plants and more seeds. Using a herbicide called quizalofop-ethyl after intercultivation was the most effective way to control weeds and increase sesame yield. This shows that planting sesame with guava trees and using quizalofop-ethyl herbicide can help farmers grow more sesame in the Vindhyan region of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
