Textile dyes in wastewater harm aquatic life. Aspergillus niger fungus from a textile area in Egypt can remove Remazol blue and red dyes. Best conditions are 4 days at 30°C and pH 4 in a special liquid mix. High dye levels slow down fungus growth. A.niger can be a good way to clean up textile dyes.
