Urbanization and climate change are causing more floods and landslides due to changes in rainfall and runoff patterns. This leads to increased pollution in stormwater. To address these issues, urban stormwater management needs to adapt. The article discusses challenges and opportunities for improving stormwater management in cities, focusing on new technologies used in some European countries.
