New Maize Hybrid Shows Superior Stability Across Diverse Environments in Pakistan
The study evaluated 26 yellow maize hybrids in different environments in Pakistan to see how stable they were. They found that the environment had a big impact on maize yield, with some hybrids performing better in certain conditions. The analysis showed that entry-2 (Mex-YLHY2) was the most stable hybrid across all environments. This means it can adapt well to different growing conditions and consistently produce good yields.
