Boosting Mustard Yields Unlocks Prosperity for Indian Farmers
The researchers studied how different levels of nutrients affect the yield and economics of Indian mustard in Uttarakhand. They tested various combinations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium on the crop. The best results were seen with 100 kg of nitrogen, 40 kg of phosphorus, and 30 kg of potassium per hectare, which led to the highest seed yield, nutrient uptake, and economic returns.
