The article discusses three types of regression models: parametric, semiparametric, and nonparametric. These models are chosen based on the available information about the relationship between variables and error distribution. The article compares the models, explains estimation methods, discusses robust estimation, and provides practical applications. The R code for all analyses is included in the Appendix.
