Geothermal heat pumps keep homes warm even in coldest climates!

The AGH-UST lab in Miękinia tested shallow geothermal systems using heat pumps. They checked temperature, power, and efficiency over two heating seasons. They reduced the length of borehole heat exchangers in two systems to see how it affected performance. The tests showed positive results, proving stable heat pump operation with fewer boreholes is possible.
