Furnace Breakthrough Slashes Coal Emissions, Revolutionizes Power Generation
The article presents a one-dimensional model to simulate coal combustion in furnaces. By studying how coal particles burn, the model accurately predicts the combustion rate of coal powder in the furnace. It simplifies the combustion process of volatile points and Coke in coal powder and considers changes in oxygen content during combustion. The model reflects the entire process of coal combustion and successfully calculates the combustion rate in real-time simulations. The results of the simulations match measured data and existing literature, providing valuable insights into coal combustion in furnaces.
