The study looked at how different types of fertilizer affect wheat production in a dryland area in China. By comparing different fertilizer rates, researchers found that using a specific fertilizer formula and plastic film mulching increased wheat yield by 7.31%. The efficiency of fertilizer use also improved by 12.51%. In areas with poor soil fertility, using the right fertilizer ratio and cultivation method can significantly boost wheat production and fertilizer utilization rates. This approach should be encouraged for better crop yields.
