China has gone through five stages in developing agricultural machinery over the past 100 years. Despite progress, there is still a gap with developed countries. To bridge this gap, China has set strategic goals for agricultural mechanization by 2025, 2035, and 2050. The focus is on full process mechanization and comprehensive mechanization, moving from 1.0 to 4.0 in agricultural machinery development.
