The Point Grey cliffs in Vancouver are eroding due to waves and other factors. A study used a computer model and field data to understand how sediment moves and why the cliffs are disappearing. Waves are the main cause of erosion, but human activities may also be contributing. Rising sea levels and stronger storms are making the problem worse. To protect the cliffs, building a beach and adding more sand could help. This study provides important information for creating a plan to save the Point Grey cliffs.
