The study looked at the different types of plants in grasslands and pastures on Crvanj Mountain in Herzegovina. The area has a varied landscape with different types of soil and rocks. The researchers found nine different types of plant communities, including some that are unique to the area. They also discovered new plant communities that had not been described before. The climate in the area is humid and the temperature ranges from moderately warm to moderately cold. The researchers identified a total of 6 important plant communities, some of which are rare and only found in this specific region.
