Researchers studied different irrigation regimes to see how they affect berry yields in conditions of water deficit. They found that using 100% of the daily water needs resulted in the highest yields, while reducing water application rates led to lower yields and lower quality of berries. It is recommended to only use reduced water application rates when there is a shortage of water.
