Revolutionizing asset management with digital technology for better infrastructure decisions!
Asset management involves managing built environment assets effectively. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a useful tool for this, but its potential for asset management has only recently been recognized. The goal of the project was to review current digital asset management practices and create a guide to promote the use of BIM and other digital engineering technologies for better asset management decisions. The guide focuses on asset data exchange, classification, location referencing, and information requirements. The project aims to increase the adoption of digital asset management in housing, building, and transport infrastructure sectors.
