New Rice Genotypes Promise Stable Yields Across Diverse Environments.
The study looked at how different types of rice plants respond to different environments in terms of grain yield. Ten rice genotypes were tested over three years, and stability parameters were calculated. Some genotypes like P 2511, P 1121, Pratap 1, and IET 21960 were stable across different environments, while others like IET 21593, IET 21959, IET 22290, and P-1460 were less stable. This means that some rice varieties are better suited for a wide range of conditions, while others are more specific to certain environments.
