Optimal planting time and cultivar selection boost soybean yield significantly!
Planting time and soybean cultivar choice can affect leaf physiology and seed yield. In a study conducted in Indonesia, early and middle planting times led to higher plant dry weight and seed yields compared to late planting. The Dega-1 cultivar produced the highest seed yields per plant among the four cultivars tested. This suggests that selecting the right planting time and cultivar can improve soybean growth and yield on dry land.
