Farmers' traditional knowledge key to climate resilience in Colombian Andes
Farmers in the Colombian Andes rely on their perceptions and traditional knowledge to adapt to climate variability. Deforestation and pollution are seen as main causes, with increased solar radiation affecting crops and biodiversity. Farmers mainly use short-term agricultural measures to adapt, but these may not build long-term resilience. To truly adapt, we need to address economic and political factors that hinder resilience.
