The researchers came up with an easy way to calculate how well a special kind of glass for solar panels lets light through. They looked at a new kind of self-cleaning solar panel glass that can clean itself. When they tested it, they found that this glass lets about 13% of visible light and 29% of infrared light pass through. On average, it allows around 21% of all kinds of light through. So, this self-cleaning solar panel glass is quite good at letting light shine through it.
