The study tested two different cooling systems in a room to see how people felt. One system used a chilled ceiling and fans, while the other used a mix of radiant and fan cooling. Both systems kept the room at a constant 26°C. People in the room felt slightly warm to neutral, with the radiant and fan system feeling a bit more comfortable. Overall, people found both systems to be almost equally acceptable in terms of temperature and air movement. The results matched the physical measurements taken in the room, showing that both systems created similar indoor environments.
