The study developed a new method to plan green infrastructure for managing urban stormwater, considering uncertainties and multiple factors. By using advanced models and decision-making techniques, the researchers found that optimal scenarios could significantly reduce urban runoff volume and pollution while keeping costs low. The method was tested in Tehran, Iran, showing promising results in improving urban runoff management.
