Government spending in Nigeria affects unemployment. The study looked at different types of government spending and their impact on job creation. They found that spending on economic services and administration can reduce unemployment, while spending on social services has a weaker effect. However, spending on transfers does not affect unemployment. Policymakers should focus on economic services and administration to improve employment in Nigeria.
